As if anymore evidence was needed that May always has been and always will be a remainer.

So it was almost the easiest deal in history, but our Remainer PM turned it down.

It would appear so. Its pretty obvious that the EU are petrified of a real brexit, aka "hard" brexit, otherwise they wouldn't keep extending the supposed time limit.

That is disgusting and outrageous. There is no place for this in our democracy. I hope the culprit is caught and properly punished.

It starts with bad language and derisory comments, moves onto insults and then on from there. We live in a civilised country let down by some very immature residents.

How sad is that.

Who is this Ruth Townsley? I hope she is arrested with comments like that. Surely that's inciting violence / hate speech?

For the sake of society i hope the old bill are all over this?

They like tea and coffee - preferably with chocolate biscuits.  Not sure they like milkshakes?

With the rise of influence of the likes of Momentum and the hard left, this violence and intimidation (and very likely worse) will become more frequent.  Remember the left trying to frighten people away from an honest days work with the violent flying pickets back at Grunwick and the various miners strikes.

I'm not sure who exactly this Ruth Townsley is, but if she thinks violence against someone just because they are rich (or for that matter, poor, the wrong religion, the wrong colour, fat, gay, or even 'just in the wrong place' is justified - then she needs putting behind bars.

I'd like to see someone confront her (and any of her loony leftie ilk!) threatening physical violence......I bet she/they would crumple and **** themselves!.........they are just cowardly, inadequate keyboard warriors.

I hope the police charge her with incitement and the court gives her a custodial sentence! 🤞🏻

Just a thought... If mainly euro sceptic parties win an overwhelming majority of seats in the EU Parliament, would it be worth staying in? If the ship can be steered onto a new, less hand wringingly oooman rights direction they could re-imagine the whole project from the ground up.

No, they have very little REAL power!

But could they block and frustrate until the bloc has no other choice than to change?

Never going to happen!

I'd prefer acid but milkshakes will do for now I guess. Nigel Farage hit by milkshake during Newcastle walkabout Ruth Townsley's tweet about Farage Another tweet on her account in said: "I've decided that violence against the rich is entirely justified and it's time to start killing them. fella in the got it right."'

We all know what she is, but just cannot say it on here......

Head of Policy at charity ‘Happy City’ Ruth Townsley has been suspended from the charity following publicly saying that Farage should be attacked with acid. She tweeted support for the Farage milkshake thrower but argued he did not go far enough:

“Bravo to Paul Crowther, good on you mate. Great that milkshakes have become a thing when it comes to racists in our midst. I’d prefer acid but milkshakes will do for now I guess.”

Her employer, which receives taxpayer funding through the West of England Growth Fund, has now confirmed that “The employee in question has now been suspended and we are fully investigating this incident internally in accordance with our procedures.” She was in charge of ‘social media engagement’. She’ll be receiving plenty more now…

UPDATE: Happy City have updated their statement to confirm that Townsley has lost her job. What was she thinking?

Funny isn't it. I don't believe anyone from UKIP or the Brexit party has 'milkshaked' anyone. I don't think anyone who supports either party has either, I may be wrong. However, it appears that our liberal and left leaning public and politicians seem to think that intolerance, aggression, slurs, accusations of being 'nazis' (Godwin's Law) is acceptable and to be encouraged. I wonder who the real enemies of democracy are here?

One thing that those that like to point the finger and shout 'nazi' should remember. The nazi party was a socialist party, it wasn't 'far-right', quite the contrary, it was 'far-left' and that I think is what we are seeing blossoming now.

Edit to say that I now remember a handful of people getting on Soubry's face outside parliament, but they just got shouty, no throwing of stuff.

She seems a very envious, bitter and thoroughly unpleasant person.  Life must be pretty nasty if all you have is envy and hate of others and desires to see attacks (whether milkshakes, acid or other violence) on people simply for being 'rich' or having different opinions.  The left have always used hatred (in various forms), and envy as ways to focus and rally support for their cause.
