MrPhantom
John Bonham - probably the best rock drummer ever! Still hate drum solos though 😴
JDog
Pink Floyd, Comfortably Numb at Live 8. I have a tear every time I play it.
labstaff
Buddy Rich is still the greatest drummer of all time! Pity we don't have drummers like bonham and moon now days. Grohl was close.
Gordon R
If anyone has watched the film "Beware of Mr Baker", you will be aware that the greatest drummer of all time is not John Bonham, Keith Moon or Buddy Rich. Much as I dislike Ginger, I cannot argue with him.
WestonSalop
Each of them had a different style and each of them sheer genius. As for Bonham, I regularly listen to In My Time of Dying - massively uplifting.
stu64
"fool in the rain". what a beat. I watched a you tube tutorial on how to play it-there's a lot going on there!!
Pushkin
John Bonham RIP No one can compare Pushkin
Fatcatsplat
Bonham took the triplet to a whole new level, but was a tub thumper. For a bit of speed, class and finesse take a look at Ian Paice - His solo in You Fool No One is used in the curriculum for advanced level drumming. I'm a drummer and I don't mind a solo, but keep it short, sharp and in context - Don't make it an excuse for the lead singer to go enjoy a groupie!! Dave Lombardo is the daddy in my opinion - Accurate, fast and always on the beat

I learnt a few things from him when he visited North Yorkshire a couple of times👍 I still have a kit in the garage, but these days I'm knackered after 10 minutes😫
