Guys anyone hanker after a gun you sold years ago?? Ya wanna laugh?? I used to do all my shooting with a Winchester super X2 sporting semi auto,I loved that gun and sold it to a mate about 10 years ago...I'm currently trying to track another X2 to put in my cabinet just to see how I get on with one now...

A G E Lewis, double 12, bar lock hammer gun! I had sleeved in the Bham gun trade in the seventies....I sold it a couple of years later, when money was required for other things!.......a really nice gun!.........I was recently considering buying a Billy bargain Lewis SBS BLE off wabbitbosher....but didn't give in as I realised it was only nostalgia for the past! Lol!

Maybe, but it was about 25 years ago,   Sold a mk1 escort for about a £1000 would be worth 25k now.

Could have bought an E Type, fixed head for £250.............that was getting on for 50 years ago though!

If I knew then.............

BSA Improved Model D air rifle with an aperture sight I found in a shed and rebuilt when I was 16. The old leather seal had a mass of BBs and old nails embedded in it

It was amazingly accurate, more powerful than my mates "Tuned" Wierauchs but mainly just lovely to shoot.

Got ripped off in a Flatshare and needed some money for a new deposit quickly so it had to go.

Franchi Raptor 12g. Had to sell it as I was going overseas for a few years and didn’t want to pay storage fees. The guy I sold it to still has it and won’t sell it back to me. Cycles anything, fitted like a glove, never missed a beat and looked lovely.

My Stevens savage 79. Had it years when everything else I'd sold or given away. Murdered some serious amount of foxes and rabbits with that. 🦊👍Then I thought I needed to go modern and bought a sxp. Lovely handling gun but that broke under warranty and so i now have a moss 500. Can't hit a bloody thing with it and am deciding to sell it or not

One of my biggest regrets is selling my Sr556.   I had a aimpoint with aimpoint x3 flip to side magnifier.  I loved that gun but during the last gun panic  I was offered $4000 for it so it had to go.  I guess in the end though I’d sell it again for that price. I can still find sr556s  foresale every now and then but that one was a anniversary gift from my wife.  eEJOsDy.jpg

I owned a Winchester Wildfowl (or maybe Waterfowl ) model with the black action. It was a multi choke and had 32" barrels before they became fashionable. A beautiful gun with lovely wood.Plenty of weight, a fine clay gun.

I always regretted selling it, I sold it back to the guy I bought it from, he was wiser than me.

Vic.
