It's called reflective practice, not like the wholly didactic education you and your cohort received.

FB, SnapChat, Line, Messenger, WhatsApp, Made in Essex, Made in Chelsea, Love Island, X-Factor, Politically Biased MSM, biological denial Et al = Reflective Practice?😂🤣

would it be better to have Hunt instead?  would the comments here be any different if we did have Hunt? I can't see any of them fulfilling brexit apart from maybe Boris, but his hands are tied before he steps into number 10. Does the post of prime minister carry any clout anymore?

If Farage did a deal with Boris to stand where Brexit candidates had a good chance of winning against Remainers - and the Tories stood down in that seat ......... and similarly where Tories stood the best chance - Brexit stood down, we could have a Leave majority - and get leave over the line.

If you think this will happen, is it possible, that in some areas, remain parties will not field candidates to ensure that all the remain votes goes to  a single remain supporting party? To some extent its happened now in the Brecon & Radnorshire by election.

Just a question.

Yes, I'm sure it is entirely possible.  They tried to arrange that at Peterborough - and it fell through due to disagreements.

EITHER - or new Prime Minister manages (somehow) to get Brexit 'over the line' OR the next General Election will be Leave v Remain - in which case it is logical for 'deals' to be made.

Come on Little Linford .. positive mental attitude !!

No, I mean it  - there's nowhere to go. Despite the vote, Britain is still an island off the coast of Europe and we still do 40+% of our trade within the EU.  And  we can't suddenly tow the country somewhere else. Add to that, Brussels will not bust up the Single Market because we've chosen to leave.  They can't - it would be the the end of the EU.

So the reason that Brexit hasn't happened yet is not because the Will of The People has been thwarted through a conspiracy of traitorous civil servants, Remainer back-stabbers or middle-brow, establishment media. It's because nobody on the planet can work out how to make it happen without driving the country over a massive economic cliff. Sure, there are politicians and media pundits out there who will say different. But when you actually examine what they say and their basis for saying it, it becomes immediately apparent that either they're outright lying or else they've a very sketchy picture of how the modern economic world works.

As the song says - Can't go back and can't stand still - if the thunder don't get you then the lightning will. And that's why the country is stuck in limbo/purgatory.

Trade works both ways, we buy we sell to mutual benefit, why has that 40 % have to go away ?
If the EU tries to throw a spanner in, it upsets us, AND Europe, we all lose, because a handful of unelected people at the EU dont want to see their pet project exposed for the wasteful behemoth it is.

Why should it ?
No one is asking for that over here.
They give others access to it, why not us, for MUTUAL benefit.

You know thats rubbish dont you ? The cliff is a theoretical nonsense , thought up by those very people just mentioned.
If the EU wanted to play ball, there wouldnt even be a speedbump, but they dont want that , they want complete capitulation , and the 'shame' of us ever considering leaving made known to the world.

Let me guess, all the TRUE experts all support remain :whistling:

The figure for our exports to EU is significantly overstated by the Rotterdam effect. Goods that we are sending to say Saudi go out in a container from Rotterdam (say). But the Accounting system tracks it as an export from UK to Holland when it goes through Dover and an export from Holland to Saudi when it leaves Rotterdam.

I'm probably them only one who felt a small sympathy for Mrs May today. She left the House, clearly emotional, after her final PMQs, to a rousing cacophony of clapping and cheering....,.....by the very people who stabbed her in the back and deserted her when she needed their support !
