How about a Jubilee?. I have had one for years in 20b. Best little gun I've owned and great snob value!!!!!!!

Not looked at a Jubilee before just had a google, they look very nice. So what is the difference between a EELL and a Jubilee? apart from about 3k.

Just a bit nicer than the EELL (I've oowned both in 12 and 20). Biggest visual difference being pinless sideplates; but the initial hand assembly means the gun opens and closes so silkily, beautiful!.

None of the 'oh, you can tell it's not done much, it's still stiff'!!!.

Is it 'worth' the extra money over a non sideplated 686 - no.

Would I go back to a non sideplated 686 - NO.

Jubilee is IMO much nicer than a EELL.

Greenfields in Salisbury have a lovely used example

I don’t disagree but this gun will be used on pigeon, pheasant, duck, rabbit you name it (legal quarry) and I will shoot at it. I have one farm i shoot a lot of pigeons at only allow non toxic over their crops and obviously with wildfowl it’s also non toxic. Yes I could use bismuth but that’s very expensive when you are decoying pigeon. So it needs to be steel proofed.

If you plan to use standard 28 or 32gr 70mm steel you can use in a standard 70mm or 76mm gun.
