that is something im sorely tempted to do next year...when my mate is up and running with his lathes.......there is an Australian company that will make synthetic piston seals to your own desighn.......

picked one of those air rifles up in the shop a couple of weeks ago...it is a heavish solid well made lump.......and sounded nice when you closed it shut..

Agree, first pic gives it away, used one in the sixties.Thanks for the link,Im looking for a trigger guard for my old BSA project which has been on the go for a long time.
