Damson gin, vodka, whisky or what else ?

Recommended Posts

As I have an abundance of damsons this year and only ever having made damson gin, I was wondering what others have used as I wish to be a bit more adventurous.

Any suggestions and recipes would be most gratefully received.

Many thanks,

OB

Never tried it as I am only 2 x 3 litres into my Gin infusion career! But how's about Damson Brandy?

Yes, I like the sound of that. I was also going to give Damson vodka a try this year.

Thanks,

OB

Damson jam .

Is the best jam ever imo.

My tree is only young yet and we replanted it last year so its not really bearing much fruit yet .but it will in a few years i suspect .

Damson Vodka is good, Mrs C did some last year. You must make chocolate truffles with the Damsons after though, it's the law.
