Being watched while watching

Recommended Posts

Sat in the truck watching a cut rape field today, few pigeons flighting, this cheeky chap was sat watching me about 30 ft away.

Although I shoot around 40 foxes a year and have worked on a farm for 38 years I've never seen a fox in the daytime.

Shoot them fairly regularly on my early morning stalking trips.

I shoot 90% of mine between 12pm and 3am

Couple of weeks ago I had my cross hairs on a buck with a huge fox sat 30 ish meters away just looking at me, that was about 9am...

Always on the lookout for fox in the daytime and see lots.

I would with no doubt see more at night but have had plenty over the years at all times during the day.

I,'ve seen a good few over the years, posted this picture in 2012. The 1st one was a leggy cub, just walked out of rape that's been left as it's got to much weed in and sat down looking at me.
