Touching any metal bit of the gun was a serious risk and I felt sorry for the chap with a s/s. Then home for a big dinner with too much to drink and a sore shoulder. figgy Posted August 28, 2019 Report Share Posted August 28, 2019 (edited) Fantastic weekend was had, daughter's wedding on Saturday in lovely sunshine. Sunday with parents sitting in the garden enjoying some vino and sun. Bank holiday Monday son let me use his Westfield sports car for the day, took my wife for a drive down to coast through Saltburn to Sandsend and Whitby hugging the coast through towns and villages. Then across North Yorkshire over the grouse moors past heartbeats Goathland and Grosmont via Pickering to Helmsley for lunch and a ice cold pint. Then to Seaton Carew which was rammed full with qurs round the block for fish and chips or ice creams so drove on then home. Brilliant drive with no roof or doors watching the combines and enjoying the wind in your hair. Great to see so many families enjoying the beach and going in the sea.
