He hasn't got a plan and never did - unless it's to stay in the EU. Just from the language alone, the recent proposals he sent to Brussels look like they were drafted as part of a 6th form school project and were obviously for domestic consumption. And the contents? Did he really imagine that Brussels would concede to Stormont having the power to situate the EUs external border every four years? Not that Stormont could decide anything - its such  political shambles that it hasn't sat at all for over 1000 days. And how does he think that gifting the Northern Irish the running sore of a perpetual live political debate between being effectively in the EU with the South or joined to a Brexited Britain would play out in real life? Just look how Brexit has divided the mainland British,  and then times it by a multiple of ten would be my guess. Has the man never read a history book?

I always suspected that when the rubber hit the road and Johnson was faced with proper responsibilities that he would prove to be an empty vessel. And so it's proved.

Unless the EU cut the rope themselves ( which Ireland would veto) then a two year plus extension is looking odds on. Then it'll be 6 years after the Referendum vote and with the issues all still unresolved another vote would be a certainly. And by that time people will be so utterly sick of the nonsense that they'll vote Remain just to put the thing to bed.

The man's just a chancer, and he's almost certainly blown Brexit for you. If he hadn't stabbed May in the back Britain would be officially out already.

Vote remain you having a laugh

I can see more voting leave no deal

Someone earlier in this thread mentioned Boris grope under the table. Trying to point score.

So that Peston bloke,  is he a remoaner?

And is the alledged  groped woman Pestons  girlfriend?

I'm just trying to fact check.

Not too sure. But I do know that the other woman that was there that supposedly said that Boris did the same, has denied any such thing happened, both the touching up and the conversation with the accuser.

He would appear to be and definitely appears to be socialist in his leanings

Yes

Facts on Peston seem to have put a blanket over his views in the media appears to me that the left wing media is protecting his views.  I may be wrong here but who can tell.

I don't think Boris was trying to score points.

Says the woman who was the main driver behind the Single Market!

The Common Market was a great idea that was a vote winner - though we'll probably never know if she knew it would mature into the surrender of many European countries to the modern day EU.

According to that new book about her, she was moving from being pro EU to having serious doubts about it. That’s part of the reason Heseltine, Major and all conspired to oust her.

May? Take Britain out? You’re having a laugh.

From the Sunday Telegraph;

"Boris Johnson would veto the EU’s seven-year budget and send a Eurosceptic commissioner to Brussels to “disrupt” the bloc’s workings if he were forced into a Brexit delay, under plans being discussed by ministers.

Senior Government figures are considering a series of proposals to “sabotage” the EU’s structures if Brussels refuses to agree a new deal or let Mr Johnson deliver Brexit without one.

Two Cabinet ministers told this newspaper that they were among those backing a more “aggressive” approach towards Brussels."

I just read on Leave.EU's facebook group, that Steve Baker would nominate Nigel Farage as our commissioner.

The EU would love that.

I have to laugh when I read people saying that voters would now vote to remain. I, like the posters, have no widespread information, but I haven't met a single person who would change their vote to remain and those who voted remain would now vote leave.

Indeed Gordon, many friends of mine who originally voted to remain have become so disillusioned by our **** poor parliament and the gravy train remaining team that they just want out with no deal and to start again!

Yet you have already accepted the possibility of a new vote, which is a turn around is it not?

The only time there is a possibility of a new vote, is when the possibility of leave winning it again is impossible.

I have definitely not accepted a new vote. i believe it would be political suicide for any party. The second vote is a possibility put forward by idiots.
