Nothing better than a boxed gun

Hi,

I've just finished downsizing my airgun collection from about 45 to 14.

It feels really good. Now I can focus more on the ones I really love.

This means: getting all the stuff that they came with, starting with paperwork (check), boxes (work in progress) and pellet containers (with my highest goal being: finding a Sharp pellet container from Japan!).

Modern airguns usually come in a nondescript box, but back in the days the manufacturers put some nice attention in their boxes.

Just makes me happy to look at them...

Anyone else on here with a box fetish? 😆

Cheers, Louis

I had a 2100 as a teenager, loved it. I'm  keeping an eye out for another one. compared to the break barrels of the day it was very accurate.

There still made, the 2200 got discontinued for some reason, same as yourself, but I had the 2200 as a youth, so it was like gold to me to find these two and to be boxed and unfired plus the price was stupidly low, kind of made my year!

I bought a new Sharp Ace and a Gamo Stutzen, Can't recall boxes coming with either of them!, The gamo was pre VCR bill and I bought it online from JSR but I can only recall a plain cardboard box holding it!!

Very nice! Lovely 147 you've got there. A good shooter and another excellent Rudy Merz design. Nice stock also.
