Another Trail Cam

Help, please as I haven't a clue.

I don't even know if these exist, but I need a really cheap unit which has the facility to view what has been shot on the spot without the need of any other equipment. The photo quality requirement is not high - is it a cat, a fox or a badger is quite sufficient.I have no idea what these things can do, but I don't need a video facility, just a single shot of whatever triggered the camera is sufficient, but as it's for night time use, it needs to be some form of night vision. I have a sneaking suspicion that there's nothing out there so basic and am likely to have to fork out for facilities that I don't need.

Not sure what really cheap is.

I like the lidl / aldi ones. Cheap (i think they were £40) easy to use. They do all what you want and they seem very well made.

Many thanks, you're talking my language. Is it possible to kindly give me a make/model description. I really need to move as a matter of urgency. I have a Lidl on my doorstep and an Aldi within range.

Possibly, I've been looking at that - particularly as the Lidl and Aldi look to be special offers which are no longer in stock - but this dumbo can't work out whether or not this model has an onboard viewer.

EDIT However, have just looked again and I seem to have initially missed the bit about the 2.4" LCD screen. Oops!

What wildlife are you checking up on in your front room?

I have it out ready to set it up on the car park. I got back this morning at 0400 and spotted a hedgehog. I have been doing a fair bit to encourage them and It's the first we have seen since we moved in. I want to find out where its staying (i suspect the log store) and if it is alone.
