a local police officer passed away recently at only 50 years old. My wife was in the guard of honour . I couldn’t be prouder of her and our home town . I think it’s a wonderful way of saying goodbye. All I know is my wife loved him to bits as a great friend.

Sad to go at oy 50, it is a nice send off to have a guard of honour.

I thought so too. I’ll be lucky to get a vicar .

We have always done it right.  Good to hear the Force is still showing due respect to it's fallen.

Unfortunately I have been to a few.  Last one was a 28yr old police traffic officer on his patrol motor cycle, killed by an idiot turning acros his path when all other traffic was making way for him on blues.  Sad day.

The station is to close very shortly and they are after all officers that were stationed there nev for pictures. Combining at the fire station at belgrave
