Maize

Just been out on the bike in the country, day off not on the doll, and noticed a couple of machines cutting the maize and storing it in big long plastic like tunnels fed by another machine, never seen that before, anyway anyone lucky enough to have that perm or have any perm with maize good luck to em its usually a magnet to them round these parts but farmers don't let Anyone shoot for some reason already got shooters, yeah that never ever go

It may get the attention of a few blacks, especially if there’s a few fallen cobs.

also a draw for squirrels.

It is surprising how much is spilled. Seen some of these fields covered in pigeons.

Started cutting the maize around here for biofuel two weeks ago. Some fields cultivated within a couple of days of being cut so cannot always wait for pigeon numbers to build up but shoot it as soon as some interest is shown. Last year was especially good as strong wind and rain flattened the maize leaving many cobs on the ground that the combine couldn’t get to.
