We all like what plant or poop so how about what bird?

whilst snooping about some woods I came upon what must be a regular roost, quite a lot of muck spread around and just white feathers on the ground, also spread around.

I took the picture on the map to give a size reference, my thought is little egret?

Muck and feathers suggest a few ! . We have [just] one, it turns up here in mid October, and has done for the last three years, ive no way of telling if its the same one. it stays for a week or two then moves on
