The same with any socialist party (or any party for that matter), once in power everything is on the table. It's just another way to seize power. Seize being the operative word as they were never voted into power.

This is also something that Corbyn's Labour are trying to do with the recent talks of a 'government of unity'. There are many similarities with Corbyn's Labour and the Nazis, anti-semitism being just

Hitler was a vegetarian. He was anti hunting and passed laws about hunting. He also wanted to ban slaughterhouses in germany when he won the war.

Some similarities to certain groups and parties and whats happening today.

And of course there is nobody on here that would take up a grossly overpaid position for doing very little. And also look after family along the way. I know I certainly wouldn't. 😉

Yep! Good point....we all despise em, but most would do exactly the same, if they could work their way into their position!....human nature I’m afraid!

Abbott was on Radio 4 this morning.  Busy saying how much Labour (or as she calls it in the typical 'commie comrades' way "The Party") were looking forward to an election.  When the interviewer informed here that the Labour whips are (at least currently) instructing the MPs to abstain - she said that 'that is a matter for the whips office - but "The Party" wants an election and 'Jeremy' will be voting for it provided Brexit is delayed.

When asked about the MPs who are saying they don't want an election until there has been a second referendum, she got confused and said "The Party" was voting for that too.  The interviewer pointed out that there is no vote on that on offer at present and she became even more confused.

I am just dumbfounded that someone with her very obvious limitations on comprehension can possibly be considered for a high office like Secretary of State.

Not my words.

"Everyone is talking about it. Will we get a General Election soon?
A quick round of the sites I follow, left me in no doubt about opinion. And I’m not just looking in an echo chamber. I’m talking about building trade related sites, Armed Forces sites, Labour sites. Sites that are followed by hundreds of thousands of people. Everyone is furious at Corbyn. Furious at him blocking Brexit, furious that he may now block an election.
It raises important questions about Corbyn. Many think he is avoiding an election due to Labour’s poor standing in the polls, but the answer is far simpler.
Corbyn has swum against the tide his entire career. It’s what he does. If people abhor terrorism, he will befriend terrorists. If people don’t want mass immigration, he’ll demand that the doors are thrown open. If people want economic stability, he’ll demand we print money. This is his mantra. If something is a popular choice, he will immediately fight against it. To Jeremy Corbyn, losing IS winning. The more unpopular his views are, the more he revels in it. Most people develop and modify their views as they go through life. Corbyn isn’t like that. He is to all intents and purposes the same professional protester he was when he was 16 years old. He doesn’t care about the cause, he simply cares that he’s protesting against the popular view or choice.
And importantly, decades of his contrary views show that he cannot change. He has never changed. If it’s an unpopular cause, Jezza will be at the head of the queue, waving his placard in support. He is a broken record, stuck in the groove, unable to progress. Repeat, repeat, repeat. He ardently strives to be unpopular.
And that is why we may not get an election soon. Because the Country wants it and to Corbyn, that means he must fight against it. History proves that Corbyn is happiest when he is causing chaos. We can only hope that his Trade Union handlers order him to go to the Country, because it’s not something he will do of his own volition."

Bear in mind, corbyn has never been in a cabinet position, shadow or otherwise, he has never had a job in labour with any responsibility, until the hard left made him party leader/yes man.

And there's a very good reason for that.

It's because he isn't fit for it.

Put your x in a box, when the opportunity presents itself, is all we ever can do.

Talk to people, change minds, educate yourself, if you want to.

They want you to do nothing, they'd prefer it if you didn't vote.

Don't let them have it their way, put that x somewhere.

100% agree - he has always been a committed 'opposer'.

No; Jeremy Corbyn for leader of the EU, (with Daine Abbott as his deputy, naturally) - he's a natural to dither and finish it off for ever!

I hope the vote goes to conservatives. As brexit have not really got a policy other than no deal leave. I think farage should be very selective where he puts candidates. He could inadvertently be the undoing of brexit.
