Some useless scruffy waster in the Stamford area dumped this set of chair frames and the pieces of wood to go with them on the verge near a local village.  My friend tidied them up and said are they any use. YES!! was the answer as an idea imediately sprank to mind.  As y'allll know full well I have about 8 or 9 ground blinds prmanently set around my own ground and those of frindly farmers and at the moment the seats are plastic garden chairs, ok but not perfect as it would be handy to have the rifle sitting there patiently waiting to hand and also a small side table for my coffee mug and biscuits.

Sorted some pieces of timber salvaged from pallets and some bits of metal box section and came up with this.  My only worry is there is no where to put the alarm clock:lol:

I still have to spray paint the rifle rests and add some rubber tubing and cut down the 'table' a bit and screw on a square of plywood. The seat is covered with top quality Aldi flooring rubber tile material..  The front rest does adjust upwards about six inches but is not designed to act as a shooting rest.

What amazed me was the bench was in perfect condition but stripped down and discarded.
