Looks very small, unlikely to cause bother, is any intestine or similar poking out from it ever? I had another pup that had one, we would massage it very frequently and supposedly they can close up on their own but you might be past that.

If you are having surgery done anyway it might be worth looking into but I wouldn't be looking to get it done if it was very minor and not causing an issue.

 

Really best to ask a vet that you trust.

My lab bitch has a small one. She will be three  in November. It has never bothered her and she ignores it completely. Worked her very hard last season picking up on twenty plus days between 250 - 350+.  The vets said to leave it when she was small and they would do it when I took her in to be spayed. That won’t happen unless there is a emergency.
