CZ550Kevlar Posted October 10 I purchased a pair of the below decoys to try on my magnet and bouncers.... £10 for the pair you get what you pay for but I can't see how they are going to be noticed, there is very little white on the body and none on the wings. i have some white UV decoy paint from A1Decoys, where would people advise painting the extra white on? Especially the wings that are lacking.
strimmer_13 Posted October 10 (edited) Ive got them as well. They were chucked in with a magnet i won drunk bidding on ebay. They are useless standard, infact id go as far as say they put pigeons off. Ive now painted bright white lines on the spinning wings and will be trying them this sunday. If they are **** ill pull them off and put some fresh shot birds on, if ive got some by that point Edited October 10 by strimmer_13
old'un Posted October 10 Young birds have no white on their neck but they still attract other pigeons
CZ550Kevlar Posted October 10 I'll paint a stripe on either side on each face and do the body and neck and see what happens. Worst case they are Target practice.
marsh man Posted October 10 Sharpen up the existing white wing and neck bars , you can use ordinary white undercoat , as good as anything and don't shine.
CZ550Kevlar Posted October 10 Where would the white bar go on the wing? The position seems to vary.
