As many know I run a joinery company in Tamworth staffs. I’ve recently had a lad leave so I’m looking for a youngish lad not a grown man to train up . It could be a job for life as we’ve been trading since 1974 .

they will have to go to college but we can arrange that and work the occasional Saturday but mostly it’s Monday to Friday 8:30-5 .

Message me please if your interested 👍😎.

we are a dying breed in the joinery trade so you’ll be a skilled tradesman at the end

A cracking oportunity for some young person Nath.

Do teach him or her all about health and safety!

College go through a lot of that but it’s mostly common sense as you know. I teach machine /workshop and site safety .

i just want someone willing to learn

I hope you get the right lad.

When we tried to get an apprentice mechanic a few years ago there was just a procession of deadheads, including one thief

Hold the interviews at 6am, that will start to sort the wheat from the chaff

I’m not even going to be there at 6am lol.

Are you providing chain mail gloves to the winning poor soul.

Best of luck with getting a good lad, there some still around and your dad's getting on in years. Being at work ball day will be tiring for him.

My dad's retired at 70 he done there days a week for year or so then two days a week for another before stopping completely.

Father in law worked till ear 71 but last couple years before he stopped he only worked till lunch time.
