Amended for you.

So the 16+ who have not yet contributed anything get to decide how a lifetimes (for most working people) of taxes and NI contributions are spent - and those who made contributions all their lives get no say in how their lifetimes contributions are spent.  Brilliant thinking.

It seems obvious, 16 year olds don't realise how dangerous labour are, where as the old folk remember how dangerous they are, from first hand experience.

Labour have some truly stupid views on voting age.

If you are over 70 you are not mentally sharp enough to think rationally - Corbyn would fit this category.

If you are 16 you are adult enough to vote - unless you are a Jihadi bride, in which case, you are incapable of thinking properly.

No Gordon its about which way you are likely to vote and its about as subtle as a brick. Simple vote rigging, something labour have shown themselves very willing to indulge in.

Peter Loo???? More like Peter ****house!

Peterloo was a political protest just after the Napolionic Wars that was broken up by soldiers and a lot of people were killed.

It was the start of the protest movements that brought about the social reforms and parliamentary reforms, workers rights etc

So no guessing his political leanings

The Iron Duke, Wellington, Sir Arthur Wellesley, was PM at the time and the 15th Hussars were ordered to charge the protesters, hence the name.

The Hussars though not blameless, were not the main antagonists.

Local mounted militia (mercs) started the violence.
