Army surplus

Recommended Posts

Found a great solution to keeping shotgun cartridges dry , safe and in one spot , army surplus .50 cal ammo box , bought new for £15 , can easily hold 250 cartridges , they now live in the airing cupboard easy to grab and head out , no more split boxes or rolling about in car and with winter coming they stay warm for a while when in the hide , metal can .

I use a respirator bag (one of the square deep ones), bought years ago for £2.50. Holds 4 boxes of cartridges perfectly and the inner pocket holds my FAC/SGC plus insurance stuff. Side pockets holds my fox calls etc. Couldn't ask for more.

Old electric drill case at car boot 50p. Plastic liner removed, 250 cartridge carrier (in their 25 boxes).

Camcorder bags. Usually lined, waterproof and can hold anything from 150-250 carts. Loads of small and large pockets for chokes, paperwork ect. Mine cost me £4 and £2 in charity shops
