Update about the Russian cartridges, the black Baikals weren't that exciting but I reckon they need drying out a bit as the barrels were filthy after using them.

The records were something else! Crazy recoil and the report alone probably broke the clays!

Damp may be in them. But they always left the barrels incredibly mucky

No.. Just; gunmakers special 410 Long made in Great Britain. Apparently there is a box of these and I have asked for them. We don't know of Page Wood Ltd as a Bristol firm.

Just text that through to my mate that has the box. He is born and bred in Bristol 🙂

Any idea on any ages for these types of carts? We are guessing 50's / 60's but no idea really.

Can't find anything specific on the .410 Eley kynoch would suggest a later one as earlier 12 bores had page on the headstamp, id put it between 1920 to 1960.

Edit, the other two eley, if they have ici on the headstamp, that also dates them from 1926 to 1963,  the crimped Hymax one I would guess at 1963-78.

A lot of clay clubs banned the Baikal cartridges and also the black powder ones because of the noise  .To date when I shoot nitro using Rio cartridges with my Browning auto  there have  been  some complains because of the noise  ,These  cartridges are the only cartridge that my gun will  always eject  when others will not
