Beretta recoil pad - what screws?

Hi,

hoping someone can help please. I have just replaced the stock on my beretta silver pigeon 20g. I purchased a Beretta micro core recoil pad for it, but it does not come supplied with screws.

Beretta sell them, but they’re out of stock. Any idea what I need as I just have an image to work from, so no idea of length, screw size etc. And can probably source something off the shelf.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Snipe.

I've just put a new pad on my dt10 today, I would say the original screws are 1 1/4" long in the past I have used 1 1/4 x 8 wood screws with no probs just put a touch of lubricant on the threads and under the head to help it seat in the pad

Awesome. Thanks a lot 👍🏼

The Beretta ones are not your typical wood screws. Try Beretta estore and use the correct ones. I chewed a stock out by using standard wood screws. Ended up having to fit gun nuts.

Link to page, scroll to the screw type you need.

I did and have. They are out of stock and they cannot tell me when they will be back in stock. Not great. Crazy that they don’t come supplied with suitable screws.

Chipboard screws had a similar deep sharp thread like the Beretta stock screws.

Have you tried a local dealer, they may have some.

Trouble comes when you use a different thread pitch, gives a double cut or worse cuts away at the thread  already cut in the wood so not as much grip. Strips out easily when you tighten it up.

Try a wanted post on the forum, someone might have some spare.

Good shout. Thank you and thanks for your help

and insight. Searched retailers for them, no one showing stock. Typical.
