Jacko3275 Posted November 25, 2019 Report Share Posted November 25, 2019 Went to a field Sunday and there was no pigeon but loads of crows surrounding it so I set up the only place I could with the minimal kit I took I put 12 flocked pigeon shells out half upside down so the black was showing as I have no crow decoys after about 30/40 mins a crow came over and I took it out and then did see any more come close over the next hour... my question is is decoying crow totally different was that one I shot a scout bird that I should have left and what are the do’s and don’ts the crow decoying cheers jacko Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Regarding decoys, you can buy Crow 'socks' that can be fitted over a pigeon decoy, or a Crow one that's started to shine. I made some decoys using Correx floor protector, which I purchased from Wickes. Farmboy91 Posted November 30, 2019 Report Share Posted November 30, 2019 Last time I decoyed crows I used a previously shot squirrel spilt open down the middle, White side up.
