A Tyneside council voted a few years ago to fell aline of Horse Chestnut trees IN CASE a child fell & was injured, gathering conkers, & down they came. also took a market trader to court as he was still selling tatties to pensioners by the pound (at the same time Chinese markets on Stowell Street in Newcastle had all of their  goods priced in YEN.The old saying "give a man a fish & he will feed his family "       Call some people a councillor & power goes to their head.

Red tape gone crazy ...

Its probably 1 person on council with a gripe stirring the poop and the rest of the sheep following .....

If I was that guy I'd have taken the whole thing down not just removed his wife's name

Yes take it down and put it in his garden for all to see .

This sort of carp happens everyday somewhere or other in this fine country of ours. If not always, very nearly so, caused by someone of sub-standard intellect being given an iota of 'power' by similarly feeble minded zealots.

I'd love to see the guys dedication inscription replaced, by 'persons unknown' in a decent font and done neatly with a permanent marker. That way when the petty minded moron from the local council starts to whinge about it he can honestly state that it is graffiti ;)

Perfectly normal IMO, here they persecute business for advertising on vehicle sides etc then put up roadside signs advertising their own venues?

Maybe best not to forget local ones only in training mostly for the big one, expenses claimed from the off.

One near here managed 12 months expense claim for no appearances, go figure that out?
