Not actually "eating" meat is it? More akin to moving it around your mouth "a bit" followed by, normally, spitting it out.

well this is the rub isnt it.................you wouldnt actually be eating "the meat and 2 vedge",.............but then again if you were a true vegan   you wouldnt be eating and swallowing a meat based gravy....on your meal....after all its not called man fat for nothing.............and if you were enjoying one of the fairer sex and a vegan during wet oral sex there might be the chance of swallowing a few eggs to-boot...........

does ethics have a part to play here ?

I wonder how many ethical vegans will refuse a drug that is needed to save their life because it has been tested on animals

I have always wondered if they would take any anti bacterial drugs/anti biotics at all, as the drugs are designed to kill those poor little beings.  Just because you can't see them doesn't stop them being living beings.

so if its a religion  vegans can build a shrine in one room of thier homes  (cold room ,pantry) and worship  spuds, carrots ,cabbage , and they won't have to pay council tax ! some thing to think about ! DD.

veganism thats not veganism ! this is veganism, Jainism,

Wear a mask so you dont breath in organisms in case you kill them, sweep the ground before walking, dont walk on grass, dont go out at night, dont take leaves from a tree, a complete bunch of loons that still eat vegetables and wear cotton.

The only true vegans must be naked and exist on fallen leaves and bits of rock, they may shelter, perhaps in a cave, no fire obviously, they may drink rainwater, anything else is hypocrisy, because you surely will, destroy the world

a sensible desision...........i have been close to pushing the boundary of decency.........but was trying to make a point.......

Nothing indecent about it, Happened since cave plebs tumbled around in the dark looking for a meal?

Ethics, indeed?

well iv'e  just looked at the Pinned post above this ,  No posts about race or religion  allowed in  off topic 🙄

It wasn't agreed by the court that it was a religion. It was agreed that it was a Philosophical Belief under the Equality Act. If we ban discussion of philosophical beliefs 90% of PW would go a bit quiet. 😂

This:

A tribunal will now determine in a case starting on 20 February 2020 whether the League Against Cruel Sports fairly dismissed him because of his alleged gross misconduct. He alleges his dismissal amounted to an act of discrimination based on his philosophical belief. If a tribunal again finds in his favour, he will be entitled to loss of earnings and damages for injury to feelings.
