its also on Quest 9:00pm tonight, ‘Born Mucky’, looks like an interesting  hours viewing from the bits I have seen, one farmer trying to keep the pigeons off his soya beans, might be worth knocking his door come spring…https://www.broadcastnow.co.uk/indies/born-mucky-life-on-the-farm-quest/5145989.article

Also worth a look is BBC2 8:00pm tonight, ‘This Fishing Life’ (click show more for the full story)….https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000d24r

I quite enjoyed that and will watch again next week, I don’t know anything about pigs but that enclosure looked like they will all be on the run imminently?

also slightly annoyed at the other guys attempt to scare off the pigeons with a few wild shots, surely a couple of hours under that sitty tree he could have put a dent in the numbers?

If the series was recorded at the beginning of the year 2019 then he basically did what was legally allowed at the time. And even if it wasn't he followed the GL to the letter. Non lethal action to deter them. They may not of filmed the shooting if it took place.

He did say that he didn't want to kill any of the pigeons, if I heard correctly.
