Would that not be the same as taking voluntary retirement where the redundancy is forfeit for the pension?

Dont think so looking at the figures they offer me a lump sum and a pension

As my mod pension was frozen, i was only offered one scheme but with my live NHS pension i had the option of two

When i got paid off i got my lump sum the accountant said if you trust your wife put it in her name as she doesnt pay tax  , and my pension was just sitting there rising at the rate of inflation each year
