Mandel chokes

I'd be looking for used Briley or similar. There are lots of makes of chokes. About two years ago a friend had a pair of Mandel in his ata side plate gun they patterned well and looked nice.

I wouldn't know how well they were made as they were in the gun.

Or regularly clean the threads and add silicone grease or copper-slip and the "clag" doesn't build up!

 

And I treat the Mandels the same as I treat my Beretta and Briley chokes, they each have their uses!

Iv'e used Briley Teague Beretta and Browning chokes and to me they all shoot the same.

The only reason i use extended chokes is that they are easier to change and help protect the bluing on the end of the barrels from rubbing off.

 I think people worry too much about chokes. Only my opinion mind you.
