Maybe the prints they left 😄. Realism for me, still life study.

😃 actually !  and being conscious of being a bit "woke" according to the Tate "main impressionist subjects were landscapes and scenes of everyday life"..😉

Scully you have a website or online gallery.

I have a website, yes, although I’m reluctant to point people to it currently as I’m having problems updating it, ( the company which helped me build it want to charge me 200 quid per hour to help me rectify it ) and am considering building another. Anyhow, that’s my problem.

hello, have not seen anything you have painted of late but did you not put some photos on here before ?

I did, a few years back. 👍

I didn’t want to mention the Bob Ross style of painting, but as someone else has, then it’s worth pointing out that his style of painting was very very popular ( and copied widely ) at his height. The Chinese even had production lines of artists, each specialising in  one aspect of a landscape. Some would paint only skies, then the painting would be passed onto someone who specialises in trees, then onto the next who maybe specialised in rivers or lakes etc etc etc. This doesn’t mean the paintings were identical, and anyhow, from the photo’  I don’t think your painting is one of these.

Whomever did it, it’s an original and will have taken time and effort. If you like it buy it.
I bought an etching in Bulgaria many years ago from a young artist in a market place. I paid him more than his asking price as the Bulgarians were just coming out of Soviet rule and currency was dire.
I discovered on getting home, that the mount was cut out from a cigarette carton! 😀. As far as I’m concerned it simply adds to its appeal.

That's outrageous. If you want I can put you in touch with my daughter who does web design. £10 per hour, she lives in the real world.

Definitely not a Nancy Kominsky!  I still have her book from the series 'Paint along with Nancy'! I actually managed to paint a couple of decent ones (in my opinion😜)and have them proudly displayed in the living room....there was no room in the toilet!  Seriously, if you like / enjoy a piece of art, whatever it is...then if you can afford to buy it  (if it's for sale!) then buy it, for your own, personal enjoyment!

I am not being nasty but it looks like the ones you used to see being painted on the TV. I wil have a google and see if i can find anything.

Have a look at the end of this video. Very similar style.

Yes. I agree. It's something that's been "banged out" for the tourist market at about £50 an item. is it on board or on canvas? A true artist signs his works with a legible signature. That this isn't is an indication that this is a mass produced item. Sorry to be a Jonah but I concur with PECK and SCULLY.
