Its stopped sending texts, it will receive texts but if I try to reply or just send one I get a message send failed message. My daughter has had a look into the settings etc and she can find nothing wrong with it, no changes have been made and the software is up to date. (she is the go to person for phone issues) Rang Virgin who after putting me through to the wrong dept 3 times couldn't clarify the problem. It just stopped sending them Friday afternoon, everything else works, I'm not a big texter but some of my associates can only communicate via text. Got to be something simple but the message center number is active and as daughter said everything is set to send and receive but it just wont. Anyone have any ideas? screamingdead Posted February 16, 2020 Report Share Posted February 16, 2020 If the message centre number is correct and you've switched it off & on again and still can't send texts, try and clear the cache of the messaging app then force stop the app & try to send a message. ShootingEgg Posted February 16, 2020 Report Share Posted February 16, 2020 Turn the unit off, remove the sim and then re seat it, then turn the phone back on.
