mick miller
Metallic Epsom Green Very tidy, very original, bulkhead, hinges, window brackets and x-member sound. Loads of service history from new, wading plugs, tools, two sets of keys, manuals, original owner manual, steering locks etc. LEZ exempt (currently). Seats always covered so in good condition. Rear seats removed but included and easy to refit if required. All bars and belts still in situ. Carpet and soundproofing throughout, factory sunroof. MOT till May. Mantec wheel carrier. Starts first time, any weather. Drives and pulls well, engine sounds great, chassis clean and solid. EGR has been blanked and a Force 9 compact but larger intercooler fitted. Everything works! (even the heater, eventually). Doors all pretty sound, no chequer plate hiding surprise disasters. There is a little aluminium bubbling in places, but this is a 23 year old Defender with original paint, nothing a little TLC cannot sort. Always well maintained, timing belt, clutch and x member replaced whilst I owned it (12 years) - this has been a daily driver and has never let me down. Selling as I have to do many more motorway miles these days and I simply cannot afford to own and run two vehicles. This has never been green laned, off-roaded (except around field margins), hasn't had a tonne of tacky gash thrown at it, never trialled, just an honest and original example. Eligible for US export in 2022. Ideal for a restoration (very little paintwork required) or just a reliable daily driver. I would prefer it to go to another Land Rover Defender enthusiast first. Sensible money at £8,250 ono Edited February 18, 2020 by mick miller
