Bobba
An amazing pleasure out of such a small incident. There was I trimming the laurel when not two feet away this little tinker decided to join me. Stayed for a minute or two. Enough for polite conversation.......... discobob
I always talk to the robins that visit our garden. They are always close by when there is a chance of getting some live food. My favorite bird
Farmboy91
I've got one that regularly visits the bird feeder, usually pushing the tits off in the process.

Ratmanwan
I have a video of two Robbins knocking seven bells out of each other. I filmed it from three yards for about 10 mins.

WestonSalop
When the fish aren't biting, it livens up my day when the robins come along and nick maggots, right next to my right foot.
The Heron
We have a big fat Christmas robin comes in our garden very friendly and is not bothered about the dog. Lovely picture.
AVB
I always compare Robins to rugby hookers. Relatively small, chippy, love a scrap. I have four in my garden that tolerate each other (at a distance) but always kicking the tits off of the feeders.

AVB
I have started to notice the behaviour of birds more (too much time on my hands). My feeders are normally dominated by the blue tits. But at certain times of the day I have about 20 long tail tits who visit. They always come along together, spend up to an hour feeding and then disappear.

If the birds are of interest to you, then the canary keeping, breeding etc, that I suggested in your retirement post could be an enjoyable and absorbing thing to occupier your time. poppythedog
We have a one legged Robin called Bobbin who rules our garden. He talks to my missus every morning when she feeds him but is a total savage when other Robins appear, he tolerates spuggies, blue tits etc most of the time.
