I have a couple of these:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07JZFQ8MC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Just connect them to your wifi and you use the app on the phone to access.

Camera be remotely operated to move up and down and also has sound and you can even talk to the dog!

There are plenty of these sorts of things out there. I recommend that you get 1080HD as picture quality is so much better.

They also have IR night vision.

Mains powered through what I think is a 12v adaptor.

They also have a slot for a micro SD card, so if you wanted, you can set them up to record 24/7 or be movement activated (that's more of a security feature). They can also be set up to email you movements alerts etc bu tthey tend to false activate a lot a those sorts of motion activated features aren't really that useful.

They work on wifi but also have a socket for a data cable on the back, so can be hard wired if needed.

For general dog watching etc. they are really good. We've got some `better` (outdoor) ones for a horse yard and they are brilliant.
