I received an email on Monday from yet another Spanish company saying that they have a totally degradable shell case and wad available in one month in the UK from Shooting Star the RC cartridge importer . lancer425 Posted May 21, 2020 Report Share Posted May 21, 2020 (edited) 20 years ago in the early days of steel, Express did a steel load 16ga load 15/16ths oz . and was a genuine 65mm case. I know this to be a fact and they were not 70mm or even 67mm. Reason i know this, was at that time i had a very early 1916 FN Browning A5 16 bore, that was short chambered, and the action on these early A5s 16 bore would not operate with any cases over 65mm.
