I have both neoprene lined and unlined wellies. In the unlined ones I have put in those 'gel' insoles from Aldi. They act as an insulator from the ground, but also wearing just normal cotton mix socks, they do not slide down due to my foot not moving around inside the boot. In the neo boots, I tend to wear knee length shooting socks with elastic garter things around the tops so they do not slide down either.

I have found since I first bought a pair of Hunters neoprene wellies many years ago I have never looked back as far as getting cold feet is concerned , all my winter wellies are now lined, nothing worse than getting cold feet , GOOD LUCK with getting the right socks

+ 1

I don't have a problem with socks falling down, what happens to me is my trousers twist round so the seem is running down my shin. Does my head in 😂
