Goldfinches yesterday

Recommended Posts

Very nice pictures.  We have seen a big increase in goldfinches around here in the last few years - perhaps milder winters?  They love to get on the chickweed that invades my drive in the spring months, but they do visit the feeders as well.

Charming birds.

Hope to have a pair (captive bred) in an aviary that I shall be building this summer.

Thanks.

It'll be a lot, as there'll be a bird room with a stud of exhibition quality Fife canaries, too, plus a pair of Siskins and Redpolls in the aviary.
