hankook1
Hi to all, Can anyone tell me if the Winchester sx3 auto with the standard invector + flush fit choke in half is a suitable choke to shoot steel loads thru as I can't see steel shot written on the choke tube anywhere bought the gun new 2 years ago with these chokes so are the original ones, also its a 3.5 " chamber model . Jnw
Hi Hankook1, I’ve contacted Winchester and browning regarding this on my sx4 with invector+ chokes. They say that all modern shotguns and chokes from them are rated for steel shot. They don’t recommend using it with Full and Extra Full chokes though. I should think this would be the same for the sx3 as the 4 and 3 are vertically the same. If in doubt contact them so your 100% confident steel shot is okay. Don’t want to go damaging a nice shotgun anytime soon eh. Edited March 7, 2020 by Jnw
