Can anyone recommend any channels worth watching during the lockdown?

I already watch all the usual, TGS, Demo Ranch, FieldSports, Buffalo outdoors and Ben Husthwaite along with a few cooking ones.

Any other gems out there?

Click on to East Anglian Film Archives ( E A F A ) , everything on there site to do with the country way of living in the past .

Dave Carrie, shows off some great shoots across the country. Worth considering if you ever win the lottery lol.

Irish rough shooting - some lovely hard going hunting spaniels (but not steady lol) ... also the commentary is funny, can see the banter between them.

Nick Ridley posts some great videos of rough shooting in his syndicate, with his little cocker working, which are nice to watch.

Capandball produces some wonderful videos on old firearms, including hunting with them.

Forgotten weapons is also excellent.

Forgotten weapons is excellent, I ignore the pony tail and beard thing though

Hickock 45 or whatever is good if you’re into handguns and rifles, and some of the walked up rooster shoots from the USA are good if you turn down the whoopin’ and a hollerin’ and the background heavy rock music. 🙂

I have watched a few of he's, cracks me up whenever he 'smokes some pot' 😂

I'll definitely give that a look to, older guns really appeal to me, thank you 👍

I've watched a few of the Harry's garage videos, wouldn't mind a wander round in there.

I like forgotten weapons, the homemade poachers guns were facinating and scary in equal measure.

I didn't realise till now our very own @mottyhad he's own channel, be watching a few of those later too.

Yes, that is correct. It is pretty basic content, and the channel isn't as busy as it used to be, but I still upload new stuff now and again. I have a couple videos that I must put on there soon.

Looking forward to watching them, as much as I enjoy TGS content I do like basic ones with no fancy production, just shooting, a bit of banter and some good birds.

Does it have to be shooting related?

Rainfall Projects  - farmer in US midwest who builds things

AvE - Takes stuff apart to see how it works and teaches you to speak fluent Canuck whilst doing so.

DeBoss Garage - Another Snow-Mexican who puts large yank engines in large yank trucks.

Weld.com - aimed at tech college students learning to weld properly.

Welding tips and tricks - does what it says on the tin

Essential Craftsman - building a stick-framed house in Oregon. Interesting to see the way building techniques differ, occasional blacksmithing content too

Really?  I struggle with TED(x) talks.  A lot of academic group-think dressed up as a new perspective, or very one-sided presentations.  Maybe counter arguments don't suit the format, but I know more a couple of people very much brighter than I am, who completely lap up the TED stuff without ever questioning it.  Or maybe I'm just old and cynical.

Cheers 👍 no, doesn't have to be shooting related, watching plenty of DIY/knife making and the like, just like watching anything I can learn from, done alot of that since I've been off work. I'll give those a look too.
