Seat box acquired Td5 needs modifications for 200tdi , will cut tunnel out of my old one and pop rivet on to new seatbox

Plus one of the joys of Landie bonnets you could just unhook them and put them out of the way giving unhindered access to the enging department.

Found and purchased  two perfect genuine wingtips and bought two aftermarket wings

New master break servo and reservoir 

wings and inner wings fitted, inners where reused off TD original 

engine bay coming on nicely 

tub is fitted by now but saving the pictures until front of build is nearly completed

Awesome.  

Some years back I did a rolling resto on a 300tdi, but not to the level you are doing.   Wish I had never sold it.

Tub in top coat , bed flooring in U-Pol Raptor two pack paint

Looking good and nice paint job, is the paint water based acrylic? will it be seeing any muddy farm tracks or is it just to pose in.

Cellulose paint.

seat box ready to be fitted in car.

proberbly a lot of attention to detail but it’s for a car for life.

did you remember to put strips of sealant between all the faces and panel joins ...........?

All was sealed with acrylic sealant, cheap option would have been silicone but as most people know it’s not good at receiving paint later if needed unlike acrylic which can be over painted.

colour is Fiat Verdi Olivia

 

rear of Cab fitted ready for windows , and cab roof fitted.

cab lining was fitted in black Alcanta looks like Suede

Heater was completely stripped down to component parts, restored to original condition and repainted to new condition, original sticker sourced and applied .

Led lights fitted and interior fitting started.

Alarm/ central locking

heated half leather seats

middle cubbybox

fully fitted Security peddle lock bolted to chassis
