Safety goggles

Found a pair of red safety glasses in the shed. These are bigger than normal glasses, smaller than goggles, but have elastic attached to each arm to go round your head. The frame is red, the lens is red and there is a soft rubber piece across the top of them whey press against your forehead.

The world looks pretty rosy through them, but what are red goggles for? Never seen them before.

For admiring your work ! Usually looks better through rose tinted goggles 😂

i'd go with the laser answer, we didn't have red goggles when I worked in a foundry, we need clear vision, red would just impair it.
