I've got a pal who's a university resident entomologist. He's gonna have to eat a hat if it's not a Red Admiral. It's an odd angle, for sure. The partially folded wings make it look rather tiger moth-like in shape, but the colour pattern is unmistakable. All the ID markers are there without anything extra.
