Manish, if you decided to stick with the AYA, why get bothered too about the finish ? Any shotgun or rifle which is used in rough places will get some wear and tear although it is claened and oiled and it will acquire a patina which as natural as the scars and callouses on your own hands. Many on here will have seen Frank Harrison's old gun which was used for many seasons guiding on the Wash. It isn't pretty and the chequering is virtually worn away but it still functions.

only problem is the AYA isnt steel proofed. The last thing I want is the thing to blow up in my face due to my own stupidity. Looks like a yildiz is going to make its way into my safe

My Gunmark Kestrel 3" chambered  has had a fair few Eley Lightenings steel 3#'s through it and hopefully more through it this coming season.👍
