TR1
I have an RS21 Side by side fridge freezer. The freezer is running more often than usual and for longer. Have ordered a new temperature sensor as that seems to be a common problem. Front display temperature stays as set but using separate thermometer shows freezer temp drops quite quickly after cycle finishes. Any suggestions greatfully received. Yellow Bear
Check the airflow vents at back if freezer, if they become iced up/ blocked it causes all sorts of problems. we had problems when bags of veg blocked them.
loriusgarrulus
Also if it has an air intake anywhere check that. Our True freezer started running all the time and not getting fully down to temperature. When we took the panel off the grid at the front for the heat exchanger, it was blocked with dog hair. 🙄 A quick session with the vacuum cleaner cured it. Loki
Hi Check the drain at the bottom of the fridge/freezer is not blocked - dust and the like or bits dropping in from inside stop the condensate trickling through. If its a freezer the condensate should drain above the compressor/pump to aid cooling it. L
