Saplings

Here's just a few of the Beech saplings that I've re-potted, after they germinated. The Beech mast was gathered from trees that are well over 150 years old and still going strong. I've tried growing them many times without success, but for some reason this time, 90% have germinated. I've also got approx' 100 Oak, some American Red Oak and Horse Chestnut. They will be allowed to gain more root growth before moving on.

Looking a little sorry for themselves after Royal Mail messed them round but watered now and I’m sure will bounce back.

I do hope they fully recover. As long as the roots can still absorb water, they should be fine. And shame on Royal Mail.
