Please expand on that figgy.

Polls in Italy for EU membership running at roughly 50/50. Talk of Italy, Spain and Portugal wanting to leave the Eurozone. If Italy leaves the EU loses it's third highest contributor to the budget (again). The Germans don't want to keep paying to support the EU budget.

A possibility that if the so called Corona bonds aren't backed by the northern nations that Italy will just continue to borrow. I can't explain the details so https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-04-04/the-euro-s-2-7-trillion-italy-problem

Its not so likely that Italy and Spain leave as it is that they will crash financially and have to be cut loose or bankrupt the Euro, Either way the EU is on very thin ice.

Lets just look at Italy, no tourism now, no car industry now and they couldn't pay their way when they had both in plenty

It's looking pretty dire all round. Tourism and hospitality makes up about 30% of the UK economy and it's not going anywhere fast. Automotive will struggle to get back on it's feet as cash is going to be in short supply, oil has collapsed. Huge debt burden and high levels of unemployment. Tough times indeed for us all.
