Lets just look at Italy, no tourism now, no car industry now and they couldn't pay their way when they had both in plenty hello, and the Mafia are doing good trade with money lending and other criminal activities

Tourism and hospitality makes up about 30% of the UK economy and it's not going anywhere fast. Automotive will struggle to get back on it's feet as cash is going to be in short supply, oil has collapsed. Huge debt burden and high levels of unemployment. Tough times indeed for us all. The EU might need to lay off some of its 50,000 jobsworths then ? Cut its £6 bn a year 'admin' bill ? Nah Im only joking , of course it wont , 'us all' doesnt include them. Demonic69
When Germany take their turn at the helm they'll be pushing more taxes in the form of a transaction tax, that should help fill the coffers. Couple that with the EU wide health service (probably with mandatory opt-in) and they'll have additional funds to play with and more control over member states who wish to leave. The EU wide health service is fantastic! All this time the remoaners have been saying Boris will sell the NHS to Trump and now Merkel comes out with that! Brexit saves the NHS!
