WalkedUp Posted May 3, 2020 Report Share Posted May 3, 2020 I see lots of GWPs, probably the toughest and hardest running of the HPRs. Most the guys I know run or pick up on the moor until the pheasant season starts. Almost all I have seen have been great working dogs. Some of the dogs (males) have been a bit more bolshie, possibly not ideal as a first HPR unless you are a relatively experienced gundog trainer overall. Love them What type of ground do you run them on? I think they’re amazing breed ... but I would have thought they’d do best hunting wide open spaces?
