Relum Tornado

Any one remember these, I got this in 1976 from the Empire Store's catalogue for around 50p a week or something

Nice old gun, where they full power at the time? I remember writing up to an airgun magazine when I was about 14 yrs old asking what gun I should put on my Christmas list. They said a webley vulcan... I never did own one

I can't ever remember if it had an o ring on the end of the piston or leather it's been sooooo many year's sinse I took it apart

Had a 177 vulcan, super rifle much better than my FWB 124

Any chance you have a picture of how the spring/clip is configured for the trigger? I took mine apart about 2 years ago when I was looking to give it a clean and got distracted.

Now, I cannot get it set back up again so its just sat in bits.................

Yes. I honed my skills at school at lunchtime with a .22 Relum Tornado in the early 1970s. One of the masters built a six yard pipe range and we could go down, sign out the Relum Tornado and practice with it if we were in the school shooting team.

I will later, unbelievably you can still buy spares I need a trigger sear and probably a piston as I can't get it to engage.

Here you go . I had forgotten I had taken a few pictures.

@B725 - it’s fixed. Thank you for the picture, it helped a lot.

 

Now it just needs reblueing and the stock refurbished.......
